Haridasa Thakura's Samadhi
Samadhi · Haridas Math Lane, Swargadwar, Puri, Odisha 752001
The tomb of Namacharya Haridasa Thakura on the Swargadwar seafront, opposite ISKCON's Bhakti Kuti. When Haridasa departed at Siddha Bakula, Mahaprabhu carried his body to what was then open sand, danced with it in kirtan and laid it in the ground with His own hands. The samadhi is a small tomb in the courtyard; beside it Gaura, Nitai and Advaita are shown seated, chanting on beads, as Mahaprabhu later did here after His sea bath.
