Prithu Kunda (Ballal Dighi)

The large pond north-east of Yogapith, dug by King Prithu in Satya-yuga when a great effulgence rose from the ground, and later enlarged by Laksmana Sena, who named it after his father Ballal Sena. The Navadvipa-dhama-mahatmya promises that whoever drinks its water is freed from sin. Srivasa's temple once stood on its bank.
