Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati's Appearance Place

The house on the Bada Danda, beside Narayana Chata Math, where Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati Thakura was born on 6 February 1874, while his father Bhaktivinoda Thakura served in Puri as a government magistrate. The site is now a temple of the Sree Chaitanya Gaudiya Math, where his deity is worshipped with Radha-Krishna, Mahaprabhu and Jagannath, Baladeva and Subhadra on the spot of his birth. A diorama in the temple shows Mahaprabhu's pastimes.
