Bhim Pul

Lila-sthana · Saraswati River, Bhim Pul Road, Mana, Chamoli, Uttarakhand 246422

A huge slab of rock lying across the roaring Saraswati just above its meeting with the Alaknanda at Mana. Tradition says Bhima laid it as a bridge so that Draupadi could cross when the Pandavas set out on their last journey towards Swargarohini; a small Saraswati temple stands beside the torrent. It marks the end of the walk through Mana village.
