Sri Radha Raman Mandir
Temple · Radha-Krishna · Radha Raman Ghera, near Keshi Ghat, Vrindavan, UP 281121
Home of Radha-Ramana, the small deity who manifested in 1542 from one of Gopala Bhatta Goswami's shaligram-shilas and has never left Vrindavan. Radharani has no separate form on the altar, being understood as present within him. The Goswami families of Gopala Bhatta's line take turns in the seva, men of the family cook the offerings, and the kitchen fire lit in the temple's early days is still kept alive. His appearance is celebrated on the full moon of Vaisakha, the morning after Nrsimha-chaturdashi.
