Chakra Tirtha (Chakra Narayana Temple)

A temple on the sea front at the north-eastern end of Puri beach, marking the spot where the sacred logs for carving Jagannath, Baladeva and Subhadra first touched land in King Indradyumna's time. It houses Narasimha, Chakra Narayana and Adi Narayana, with a Varuna shrine. Pilgrims pair a sea bath here with visits to Bedi Hanuman across the road.
