Nidaya Ghat

The "merciless" ghat where Sri Chaitanya crossed the Ganga at the end of His twenty-fourth year, leaving Navadvipa for Katwa to accept sannyasa (CC Adi 17.272). A ferry still crosses here; a place of separation on every parikrama.
