Sri Radha Damodar Mandir
Temple · Radha-Krishna · Seva Kunj, near Loi Bazaar, Vrindavan, UP 281121
Founded in 1542 by Jiva Goswami for the Damodara deity his guru Rupa Goswami carved and gave him, this Seva Kunj temple became the Goswamis' seat of learning. Its courtyard holds the samadhis of Rupa and Jiva Goswami, Krishnadasa Kaviraja and Bhugarbha Goswami, and the rooms where Srila Prabhupada lived before sailing for America. Sanatana's Govardhana-shila bearing Krishna's footprint is kept here, and four rounds of the temple are counted as one Govardhana parikrama.
