The ghat of Haridwar where the Ganga leaves the mountains, with a footprint of Vishnu set in the stone of Brahma Kund. At sunset Shri Ganga Sabha offers the Ganga arati and thousands of leaf-boats with lamps are floated downstream; the Kumbha Mela bathing is held here.
