A pond a short walk from Kaliya Ghat where, on the night after the Kaliya pastime, the cowherds camped instead of going home and Kamsa's men set the forest ablaze around them. Krishna asked everyone to close their eyes and swallowed the fire. A small temple of Davanal Bihari stands on the path to the water; the kund was cleaned and refilled in a recent restoration.
