The village temple of Sri Madana-Gopala at Belpukur (ancient Bilvapaksa), the deity worshipped by Nilambara Chakravarti, Sri Chaitanya's maternal grandfather, and by Saci-mata in her girlhood. Belpukur is also where the sage Nimbarka met the four Kumaras after worshipping Pancavaktra Siva with bilva leaves.
