Brahma Kund
Kunda · Brahma Kund, behind Sri Rangaji Mandir, Vrindavan, UP 281121
An old stepped tank on the northern side of the Rangaji temple, counted by Braj tradition as the heart of Vrindavan. Here Narada is said to have been bathed into the form of a gopi so he could witness the rasa dance, and Rupa Goswami recovered the hidden deity of Vrinda Devi from its northern bank; that deity is now worshipped at Kamyavan. The Braj Foundation restored the kund between 2006 and 2009.
