The home of Vitthala — Krishna standing on a brick with his hands on his hips, waiting for his devotee Pundalik — and of Rukmini, his consort, in her own shrine. Hundreds of thousands of Warkaris walk here in the Ashadhi and Kartiki wari carrying the sandals of the saints; the step at the main gate, Namdev Payari, covers the place where Sant Namdev asked to rest so that pilgrims would touch him on their way in.
