The site of the vastra-harana pastime: the young gopis, bathing here during their month-long vow to Katyayani, found that Krishna had carried their clothes up a kadamba tree. An old kadamba that pilgrims still worship with offerings stands by the small shrine. The Yamuna has since drifted away, so the ghat now sits a little back from the water on the parikrama path, a few minutes from Kesi Ghat.
