One of the oldest shrines of Vrindavan, near Vamsi Vat: Shiva, who took the form of a gopi to enter Krishna's rasa dance. In the evening the lingam is dressed and adorned as a gopi, and Vaishnavas honour Gopeshwar as the guardian of Vrindavan before starting their parikrama.
