The tomb of Sanatana Goswami, Rupa's elder brother and the senior of Mahaprabhu's Vrindavan Goswamis, lies in a quiet walled compound just behind the old Madan Mohan temple, a little down the slope of Dwadasaditya Tila. The same enclosure holds the grantha-samadhi of his writings and flower-samadhis of associates such as Tapana Mishra and Chandrasekhara. It is reached from the parikrama path or by the lane running beside the temple.
