Bharadvaja-tila

A raised mound west of Mayapur where the sage Bharadvaja worshipped Lord Gaurachandra after visiting Ganga-sagara, and received the Lord's promise to appear before him. Locally called Bharuidanga, it is counted among the major tirthas of the dhama.
