A small Shiva temple on the slope just below Badrinath, between the main shrine and Tapt Kund, managed by the temple committee as one of Badrinath's subordinate temples. Pilgrims coming up from the hot spring pass it on the steps and stop for darshan of Shiva as Adi Kedareshwar, a reminder of Kedarnath, the Shiva dham on the other side of the range.
