Gambhira (Sri Radhakanta Math)

The house of Kashi Mishra, the royal priest, where Mahaprabhu lived in a tiny inner room, the Gambhira, for the last twelve years of His life, absorbed in the mood of separation from Krishna. Pilgrims see the room and a box holding His water pot, wooden sandals and quilt. The math's deity Radhakanta was later joined by Radha and Lalita, installed by Gopala Guru, along with dancing Gaura and Nitai.
