Chand Kazi's Samadhi
Samadhi · Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Marg, Bamanpukur, Nadia, WB 741313

The tomb of Chand Kazi, the Muslim magistrate of Navadvipa who forbade kirtan and was converted by Sri Chaitanya's civil-disobedience procession; the Gaudiya tradition honours him as Kamsa of Krishna-lila turned devotee. A champaka tree shades the samadhi, and the Navadvipa-dhama-mahatmya says its darshan removes old age and disease. The Kazi's village is identified with Mathura.
