A five-acre tank a few hundred metres beyond the Gundicha temple, said to have formed from the hoofprints of the cows King Indradyumna gave away at his thousand horse sacrifices. After the Gundicha-marjana and during the Ratha Yatra days Mahaprabhu played here with His devotees, splashing water in pairs; once Advaita Acharya floated like Ananta Shesha with the Lord lying on him. The Nilakantheshvara Shiva shrine stands on the steps.
