Sweta Ganga

A small sacred tank south of the main temple, off Bali Sahi Road, and one of Puri's five tirthas. A bath here followed by darshan of Sweta Madhava and Matsya Madhava on its bank is said to cleanse even the fault of stepping over Jagannath's prasadam. Gangamata Goswamini bathed here, and Sarvabhauma Bhattacharya's house, now Gangamata Math, faces it across the lane.
