The ancient Jagannatha deity of Simantadvipa, rediscovered and served by ISKCON since the 1980s. Beside Jagannatha, Baladeva and Subhadra, the compound holds a Mahaprabhu–Simantini shrine, Lord Siva beneath a sacred banyan, the samadhi of Jayananda Thakura, a kalpa-vriksha tree and a diorama of the Lord's pastimes. The Rath-yatra and Snana-yatra festivals here are among the largest in the district.
