The world headquarters of ISKCON, founded by Srila Prabhupada on the bank of the Ganga in Antardvipa. The Chandrodaya Mandir houses Sri Sri Radha-Madhava with the eight sakhis, the large Panca-tattva deities and Sri Prahlada-Nrsimhadeva, with mangala-arati before dawn, continuous kirtan and prasadam for thousands of pilgrims daily. Gaura-purnima in February–March draws the largest crowds of the year.
