The pond at Narkatari, between Jyotisar and the town, where Bhishma is said to have lain on his bed of arrows and where Arjuna shot an arrow into the ground to bring up water for him. A small temple of Bhishma and statues of the scene — Bhishma on the arrows, Arjuna drawing his bow — stand by the water; the site is a stop on the 48-kos Kurukshetra parikrama.
